An exquisite and yet such a gentle pearl... Maria Neykova and the immortal "Two", Ladies and Gents!
When two go walking a road abreast
If path is absent they will not rest
They will roam over this whole wide world.
Oh, I do not want to stay here alone.
When two decide to find a bridge
A life-long sparkle will both them reach
And spark the sorrow far and beyond.
Oh, I do not want to stay here alone.
When these two share one common fate,
If they go struggle in common fight
They will lie sinless into the soil.
Oh, I do not want to stay here alone!

And now - Miryana Basheva, ladies and gentlemen!
As a rock on my shoulders
As a healed over scar
As an old copper penny
As a black widow's scarf
I carry you as an armor
Stuck at birth to my back
Oh, you're heavy, you torture
But you're my promised luck
As an old voodoo magic
As a potion for lust
As a throat-burning spirit
As an ivory dice
All the life cold and craving
Curse and blessing at once
So hello and go, leave me!
Oh, my grueling love...
As a rock on my shoulders
As a healed over scar
As an old copper penny
As a black widow's scarf
I carry you as an armor
Stuck at birth to my back
Oh, you're heavy, you torture
But you're my promised luck
As an old voodoo magic
As a potion for lust
As a throat-burning spirit
As an ivory dice
All the life cold and craving
Curse and blessing at once
So hello and go, leave me!
Oh, my grueling love...

Някой ден сигурно ще събера достатъчно за стихосбирка от избрани български стихотворения, в мой превод на английски. Засега - Петя Дубарова:
Sometimes I 'come so kind
That I start trembling up to painful
And heavy twined and twisted veins of mine
Start searching for a noble name to name me
Sometimes I 'come so kind!...
The boxwood bushes hug and hide me
Then unimagined childish play
Starts searching for my hands and finds me!
Sometimes I get as pale as amber honey.
Then pale sweet lips so gently love me.
Sometimes I am a golden tournesol flower
As pretty as the look of bonny maiden.
Sometimes I'm white and kind.
Oh, my! I 'come so kind so seldom!
Then I want to give a little dream
To everyone! And all my love
to break to little pieces
and reach so many honest hands. Believe me!
And when I give my juice to someone's stem
I'll keep my secret that I am breathing!
